Here are some steps you can take if you feel like your Embr Wave's battery life is unusually short.
Embr Wave's battery is designed to give 15-50 sessions of warming or cooling in moderate environments. If your Embr Wave doesn't seem to be holding a charge, here are some things you can try:
- Maybe Embr Wave isn't getting a chance to charge fully. A complete charge should last 1.5 hours when powered by a wall plug. Connect the USB cable to a wall plug and let it charge. When the green charging pattern ends, try unplugging it and plugging it in to let it charge some more, just in case.
- Li-ion batteries can see their capacity go down by 50% in very cold weather (you might have noticed this with your smartphone, too). So when you're wearing Embr Wave outdoors in the winter, keep it against your skin to keep it warm.
- Embr Wave is designed to operate in moderate environments. If you're using your device in very cold or very hot environments, that's okay, but it does mean it's probably using more power and depleting the battery faster.
