The Wave 1 contains components that do emit electromagnetic waves, and the Milanese loop band is secured with a magnet. These components with the magnet could potentially interfere with a pacemakers, ICDs, or other medical devices.
We recommend consulting with your physician and medical device manufacturer for information specific to your medical device and to stop using Embr Wave if you suspect that it is interfering with your pacemaker, ICD, or any other medical device.
If the magnet on the Milanese loop band is the primary concern, you can purchase one of our nylon comfort band (velcro closure) or getting the band replaced at a watch/jewelry repair shop with another style of non-magnetic band.
