My Embr Wave is frozen with purple lights after the firmware update!

Here's something you can try:
  1. Force quit the app. (Instructions for force quitting iOS and Android)
  2. Hold down the left side of the light bar (where you'd typically see the blue light) on the Wave for a few seconds, until the purple light turns off.
  3. If the purple light stays off you're all set! If not, re-open the mobile app.
  4. The app might automatically start updating. If it asks you to pair, tap Cancel.
  5. If it doesn't automatically update, tap the gear icon ⚙️at the top right hand corner or swipe left to get to the Settings screen.
  6. Wait for the update to complete.
  7. Re-open the app.
  8. Tap Pair if your devices do not start pairing automatically.
