My Embr Wave is frozen with purple lights after the firmware update!

Here's something you can try:
  1. Force close the app. (Instructions for iOS and Android)
  2. Hold down the left (-) side of the light bar (where you'd typically see the blue light) on the Wave for a few seconds, until the purple light turns off.

If the purple light turns off, you're all set! You can go back to using your Embr Wave.

If the purple light does not turn off or if you see flashing purple/blue lights:

  1. Open the mobile app.
  2. The app might automatically start updating within 10-20 seconds. If it asks you to pair, tap Cancel.
  3. If it doesn't automatically update, tap the ⚙️ icon at the top right hand corner to open Settings.
  4. Wait for the update to complete.
  5. Tap Pair if your devices do not start pairing automatically.
