This is a bug that seems to have affected a small number of testers who participated in our latest beta release (late February 2019). After installing a firmware update, the units run into a glitch that causes them to become totally non-responsive. We've since released a stable version of the firmware (v. 33) and are working to determine the cause of the problem.
The good news is, there's an easy fix! The not-so-good news is that it does involve some waiting: the Wave battery needs to drain completely. Once the battery has died, it will begin to charge, can be paired with the app, and updated to firmware v. 33. (To update, all you need to do is open the app and wait about 10-20 seconds for the download to start automatically. If it doesn't start, you can tap Firmware under Settings.)
Draining the battery could take up to a week depending on how charged your Wave is. We suggest trying to plug it in every 2 days and see if green charging lights come on. If not, keep unplugged for another few days and try again.
