My Wave 2 isn't chargingUpdated 10 months ago

It should typically take about 2 hours for your Wave 2 to reach full power when placed on the provided charger. If you’ve noticed your Wave has been charging for much longer than 2 hours and the green indicator light still hasn’t turned solid green, or if you see a 3-second red light when you try to use your Wave, here are some things to check:

  • Are you using the latest firmware on your Wave? Firmware updates include fixes to things like common bugs, including charging issues. Here's how to check and upgrade your Wave 2's firmware.

  • Is the device sitting on the charger properly? There are 1 on the underside of your Wave. These need to be lined up with the two gold pins on the charging base. When correctly positioned, you'll see the green glowing light indicating that a charge is in progress. The base and device have magnets to help your Wave click into proper position, but if it gets knocked off base, charging could be interrupted.
  • Do you have your lights set to Off? Open the App >Settings >Light Options. If you have selected Off and disabled “Show charging light,” your Wave will not display any lights when in use, when buttons are pressed, or when the device is placed on the charger.
  • Is there something wrong with the USB port or wall plug? Try plugging the charger’s USB cable into a different USB port or wall plug.
  • Is something wrong with the USB cable? If you have a spare USB-C to USB-A cable, try plugging that into your charger to see if that makes a difference.

If you’ve checked these things and are still unable to charge your Wave, let us know so that our support team can help out.
