You may be able to run the Embr Wave 2 app on older smartphones or tablets, but we are not able to provide support or guarantee performance of the app on devices that were discontinued or deprecated before January 1, 2020. Please note that this policy applies specifically to devices whose production or manufacturer support ended before January 2020—it does not apply to devices that were simply released or sold prior to that date.

Embr Wave 2 App Support Policy for Customer Hardware Devices

To allow us to maintain the quality, performance, and reliability of our app that gives our customers the best possible experience, we limit app development and issue resolution to hardware devices that are within a 5-year window of their release date.

Effective Policy

What this means is that we do not support, troubleshoot, or develop the Embr Wave App for hardware devices that were officially discontinued or deprecated by their manufacturer prior to January 1, 2020.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Smartphones and tablets no longer manufactured or officially supported by their brands as of 2020
• Devices that no longer receive firmware or hardware-level updates
• Legacy hardware lacking modern performance or compatibility standards

Why This Policy?

Focusing our support on actively maintained hardware allows us to:

• Deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience
• Ensure and improve security and app performance

Our app may work with hardware discontinued before 2020, but we provide no guarantees of this, nor do we guarantee our app will continue to work with said hardware indefinitely.
